Grown in rich volcanic soils, this is a choice Arabica coffee grown between 1400 - 1600 meters (4600-5250 ft). Beans from Tarazzu are sheltered by the Pacific mountain range of Costa Rica. These coffees come from the La Minita estate, consisting of only 700 acres of coffee trees.
Generations of farmers are dedicated to their craft and grow these beans on small plantations located in valleys and mountainsides. The beans are hand picked at the height of the harvest season (approx. three months) and dried under the Costa Rican sun. From soil to cup you'll not find any herbicides or pesticides and are fair-trade and organic.
