Grown in rich volcanic soils, this is a choice Arabica coffee grown between 1400 - 1600 meters (4600-5250 ft). Beans from Tarazzu are sheltered by the Pacific mountain range of Costa Rica.
Generations of farmers are dedicated to their craft and grow these beans on small plantations located in valleys and mountainsides. The beans are hand picked at the height of the harvest season (approx. three months) and dried under the Costa Rican sun. From soil to cup you won't find any herbicides or pesticides and are fair-trade and organic.
Roasting Profle: City (a lighter roast, approaching medium)
Flavor Profile: Hints of cacao with cinnamon, exceptionally clean cup with very mild citrus green apple finish. A perfect way to start your morning.
