A farm-direct relationship—we have the pleasure of presenting Finca Santa Isabel from the Garcia-Prieto family. Alejandro, one of the sons of the family, went to school in San Antonio and started selling his dad's coffee all across Texas. We've known him for a number of years now and have been loving this years washed coffee!
Located at the highlands of the San Miguel Volcano, a cool and naturally shady climate, provides ideal growing conditions for the bourbon and local heirloom varietals present on the plantation.
We have found this coffee to perform well in just about every brewing method available. For those espresso lovers out there, it is an amazingly nutty and sweet single origin espresso—we loved it so much it's been added to this seasons Knockbox Espresso Blend.
