If you're looking for a classic washed Ethiopian coffee, we think this is it! Bursting with blueberry and peach cobbler and rounded out with a delicate yet complex jasmine florality—this Ethiopia checks all the boxes. If you enjoyed our previous Ethiopia Hamasho, this coffee is from the neighboring farm overseen by the same producer!
The producers of this coffee live in the beautiful Bombe mountains of the Sidama Bensa region. The name of this washing station is derived from a bridge dedicated to the local chief at the time it was built in 1997. This washing station is overseen by Daye Bensa, who has had coffees placed top 10 in Cup Of Excellence three years running—including a #2 spot in 2022! His team works closely with the growing number of farmers in the area to provide them with the best prices for their cherries and resources for continually improving the quality of their produce.
This coffee was imported in partnership with The Coffee Quest, whose growing team of staff and farmer partnerships are committed to transparency, long term sustainability and quality. We're thrilled to present this coffee to you all!
